Twirl That Baton ...

A while ago, I featured the home of Lyn Gardener of Empire Vintage ... a stunning warehouse like conversion ...
How lucky to find another shot of her home over on Desire to Inspire ...
I fell in love all over again...
The woman is the vintage style goddess!

I have only one of these calisthenics batons in black and white stripes but treasure it dearly ...
Am always on the lookout for more of course xx

  1. wow, that scene is gorgeous! love those batons!

  2. Now all I want to see is a photo posted of you pulling some calisthenics moves in a leotard (ala kath from kath and kim) twirling that baton. Please? x

  3. Such a fantastic photo! Your blog about "batons" caught my eye, as here in the US I've been involved in baton twirling for many years and now have an online business, Twirl Planet. I'm realizing our batons are different than yours : ) Refers to the majorette activity here in the US. Turns out I'm also a juggler and we'd be calling these clubs, used for club swinging. Certainly a bit of a lost art now that harkens back to a way to keep fit!

Thank you for sharing your lovely images!

  4. Oooh what a lovely idea! Maybe I should drag my pom poms out of the back of cupboard and put my secret shame on display :D

  5. Empire Vintage is one of my favourite Melbourne stores, and Lyn is such a lovely lady. The studio spaces they offer at Empire are well worth a look too, very beautiful!

I would love to see some photos of the new White House on you blog, or even better, footage from the Postcards Vic story as we ddon't get that TV show here in SA.

While of course I appreciate your generous comments, please don't feel obliged ... just having you stop by is lovely enough!

Happy day dear friends xx
