Fluffy Puppy ...

Wouldn't a puppy be the perfect stocking stuffer?

Righto, so this is going to unfortunately be my last regular post for a few weeks ... as some of you may have read, I have a very large 4000km drive ahead of me to get home to Adelaide for Christmas (my little bro is doing it with me for the last half thank goodness!), and then a further drive on to Melbourne afterwards to start my new job and new life!

Very exciting ... but posting will be a little sparse ...

I hope the lead up to your Chrissie will be a little more relaxing and joyous ... will be back soon dear friends xx

My favourite colour is still stripes ...

Stunner!
Can't get enough of black and white stripes and the addition of this fabulous moulded floating shelf makes them even more amazing!

Can't find the source - let me know if it is you!

Fly Away ...

I stumbled upon this stunning and affordable art over at Elle Decoration ...
Nice to find something, that as Pip says, satisfies the 'Wander' part of White & Wander ...

The design group is called Air Lines ...
They have created these works of art depicting every flight around the world on any particular day, tracking their route from point of origin to their destination ...
You can buy it with or without the world outline, and also in reverse ...

(Am science nerd and think this kind of looks like brain electron microscopy of axons and dendrites - still very cool ...)

The best part is that the are huge and only US$38 each or as a holiday special US$90 for all 3!
I can't think of a piece of art I want more ...

Might have to buy as an early Chrissy prezzie for .... me!

Waterway ...

How civilized being able to moor your little boat right at the front door?
Sold ...!

Here ...

French Food ...

Loving the industrial shabbiness of this fab french kitchen ...
Interior factory windows again ...
And some clear glass shelves over the sink ...
And gotta love those airconditioning pipes ...

All my faves together in one space!
Sigh xx

Warehouse Wishes ...

I have been searching for online shotos of this place for months!
I first saw it in a WA magazine called Insite, but am retarded when it comes to scanners so though all hope was lost until I saw the photos on the always fabulous Remodelista blog ...

The converted warehouse belongs to the owners of Ochre, a glam furniture company in Europe ...
Obviously, the furniture is their own design, but the interior was there when they arrived - I wouldn't have changed it either ...

Now this roof is very familiar - exactly how my little loft looked! ObviouslyI didn't have a Barcelona chair, but I do have a few globes ...
Now this is the ticket!
Those unadorned factory windows - heaven!
The polished concrete floor!
And that stunner glav floating island ... with those fab vintage bar stools ...

And here is the last shot ... I couldn't think of a more chic housing option!
Fingers crossed there is something even a smidge this good waiting for me in Melbourne ... somehow, I think it is a long shot but the dream is alive!

Hello Lover ....

Who needs Monday Men when these darlings are on the scene ....?

Have been a bit naughty this weekend and purchased a little bit of Chloe ...
I couldn't resist - they were sitting there calling out my name!

My present for surviving in the bush for 6 months ... I think I've earned them! And don't worry Mum, they weren't that expensive ....!

Baby Baby ...

A gorgeous little darling from Flickr to make you smile ...
I have a crazy weekend of packing ahead of me ...
I hope you get to do something a whole lot more fun!

Twig Dilemma ...

Behold ... a twig spectacular!
Now, the dilemma here is that ...

1 - The branches might obscure your vision of the ceremony ...
or
2 - They might spike you in the eye as you tried to get in to sit down ...
or
3 - One errant twig might catch on the wedding dress, making the bride trip and then need to be taken to the ED for her emergency surgery on her shattered zygomatic ...

Is it worth it for all that branchy loveliness?

Of course it is!

Mirror ... Mirror ...

I have a pair of mirrored cubes just like this ...
how I have missed them!

I bought one when I was a poor scientist, I was totally broke but I couldn't resist ... and the second I received for my birthday a few years later ...
They are probably my favourite pieces of furniture and certainly the only pieces that are worth anything!

They are being lovingly cared for my Mum and Dad awaiting my return ... I imagine they have missed me too -

Not long now my cube darlings xx

The Grand Library ...

Oh, how I love a converted warehouse!
I would be happy forever here, of that I am certain ...
It is such a strong dream of mine to be able to convert a space like this one day ...
I will definitely be using interior factory windows like in the picture above, and have a mezzanine bedroom in the middle ...

Isn't that library just so overwhelmingly beautiful ...?

Hotel Perfection ...

Hotel perfection comes in the form of the Olde Bell Inn in Hurley, countryside UK, by the ever-so-stylish Ilse Crawford ...

That bathroom is simply stupendous!

Drum Roll ...

Have had a very eventful weekend watching DVDs when I am meant to be packing ...
Very sad I know ... am Bridget Jones and need to get a life!

Anyway, was watching 'The Holiday' and true to form scrutinising the interiors for ideas when this popped into my sight - a drum side table!

How excitement! I have mentioned my circus drum before and now I truly feel my worth as a decorator has been proven ....

Just joking of course ... but I was excited!
I always intended the drum to be a side table or coffee table with a glass top ...
And I think I may have another one on the way for Christmas courtesy of my fellow auction house scavenger Mum ...

Now I just need to find a replica of that little house, and a Jude Law husband ....

PS Google led me to these photos on the lovely Cote De Texas xx

Major Wreath ...

I couldn't find any men worthy of the 1st of December, so here instead is the biggest Christmas wreath in the universe ...
Love it!

Phoebe Howard of course ...!
