I really love a white painted interior brick wall - of course, it would need to be scrubbed back a bit like this! I have a direct aversion to perfect finishes .... !
And, since I have an ensemble, am thinking that in my new bedroom (when I finally get a place sorted ...), I may attempt to make one of these lovely buttoned back darlings ... I think I can do it ... will keep you posted!
Photo ... Apartment Therapy of course!

ReplyDeleteWell Emm, I've been up all night trying to knock the perfect paint finish from all our too-perfect painted brick walls!! All we wanted to do when we did them was to quickly expunge the open-face crappy brown brick from our lives. They are now all adequately scrubbed back, but MOTH thinks I've totally flipped out!
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^ (exhausted!!)
I love a painted brick wall too (not too perfect, of course!) And that headboard is fabulous- if you DIY you will have share!
ReplyDeleteI'm contemplating a brick wall in my office - it's between two white built in shelves. This image was really helpful - thanks!
